We provide a full range of corporate and commercial legal services from the time a company is being incorporated to its operations, as well as insolvency.
These services include assisting in day-to-day affairs or operations such as shareholders’ agreements, investment and trust structures, franchise agreements, joint ventures, corporate secretarial work, employment contracts, internal investigations and disciplinary matters, and retrenchment.
We also act in contentious matters that may arise, such as derivative actions, breach of a director’s fiduciary duties, shareholders’ disputes, minority oppression, termination of employment, and regulatory offences under the Securities and Futures Act or the Companies Act, and disciplinary matters. In insolvency and restructuring matters, we act for liquidators, judicial managers, scheme arrangers, creditors, “white knights”, or the companies themselves.
Last but not least, we have specialised regulatory services pursuant to which we act for various statutory and professional bodies, as legal assessor and prosecutor in inquiries and investigative proceedings.
